I am an experienced educator with 13 years of primary teaching in Bhutan after completing my B.Ed at Paro College of Education. I further expanded my expertise by pursuing a master’s in information technology in Australia and building over five years of professional experience in early childhood education. Holding a Diploma and Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, along with First Aid, CPR, and Child Protection training, I am committed to creating safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environments that support children’s holistic growth and development.
I am a dedicated educator with over 16 years of teaching experience in Bhutan, spanning nine years in primary education and eight years in higher education. I hold a Bachelor of Education, a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education, a Diploma in Business & Sales Management, and a master’s degree in teaching English as a Second Language. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Information Technology at the Wentworth Institute of Higher Education in Canberra, Australia, while working as a Childcare Educator at Kids Academy. Alongside my teaching career, I have authored a novel and published multiple research papers on education, sustainability, and student well-being.
With qualifications in Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, First Aid, and Child Protection, I bring both academic expertise and practical childcare experience to my work. I am passionate about play-based learning, curriculum innovation, and fostering strong partnerships with families. Committed to children’s learning and emotional well-being, I integrate creativity, cultural values, and evidence-based approaches to provide nurturing environments where every child can thrive.
I am a dedicated Early Childhood Educator with over eleven years of teaching experience, including primary education in Bhutan and childcare education in Australia. Holding a Diploma and Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, along with First Aid, CPR, and Child Protection training, I specialize in creating play-based, engaging learning environments that support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. With experience at Guardian Childcare and over a decade as a primary teacher, I bring strong skills in curriculum planning, positive behaviour guidance, and family communication, while also enjoying travel, movies, and creative learning activities for children.
I am a passionate and empathetic Child Care Educator with two years of experience in early childhood education in Australia, currently working at Forrest Early Education and Care Centre. Skilled in implementing the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), I design child-centred learning experiences, document developmental progress, and collaborate with families to support each child’s holistic growth. Prior to my career in education, I worked for eight years as an Accountant with Pepsi Company in Bhutan, gaining extensive expertise in financial reporting, accounts management, and credit control. With a strong commitment to inclusion, cultural diversity, and safety, I strive to create nurturing environments that foster curiosity, confidence, and lifelong learning.
